At Seattle Gift Basket Company, we provide you with a secure shopping environment.  We understand you may have concerns about sending personal or credit card information over the internet.  To ensure that your credit card information entered on our site cannot be abused, we use a 128bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).  SSL encrypts all information entered on our site before it is sent over the internet.  SSL prevents eavesdropping and ensures data integrity during communications.  Encryption is process of taking characters you enter at your computer and scrambling them into bits of code before transmission.  The bits are securely transmitted over the internet to our server, where they are unscrambled.  When you enter your credit card information, you will notice a gold lock on the bottom right hand side of the page indicating that the page is secure.  You can double click on the lock to view our SSL Certificate.


Privacy

We understand that purchasing products online involves a great deal of trust on your part. We take this trust very seriously and make it a priority to protect the confidentiality of the personal information you provide to us. 

We are committed to protecting your privacy and to giving you choices about the uses of the information you provide online. To support that commitment, we have adopted the following policy to apply to this web site:

1.  The information you provide to us is used solely for the purpose for processing orders within Seattle Gift Basket Company.  Your information is not sold or distributed whatsoever.

2.  Your credit card information is not stored and cannot be accessed within your account.  After your order is processed, your credit card number is completely removed from our server.

3.  You have the control to change your personal information, your password, and any addresses you have stored in your address book.  At your request we will completely remove your account and every shipping address that is associated with your account.
